To make these bad boys you use gourmet lamb burger patties, milk burger buns, onions, tomato and rocket. But the thing that makes these burgers killer is the harissa and natural yoghurt sauce. All served with the best oven chips you will ever make. So good...

30 Minutes. Perfect for a family night in over the holidays.

Serves 2.

2 premium lamb patties (160g each)
2 burger buns
1 tomato
1 brown onion
30g rocket
50g natural Greek yoghurt
1 teaspoon harissa paste
2 desiree potatoes

Preheat oven & prepare pattie 
Preheat oven to 200ºC on fan bake. Remove patties from pack and reshape to an even patty shape. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Cook potato chips
Wash the potatoes and cut into 0.5 cm slices. Place a single layer on a lined baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Place in the oven on middle rack and cook for 25 minutes until golden and crisp.

Cook onions & patties
Thinly slice onions. Heat a lightly oiled pan to medium heat. Add onions. Season with salt and pepper and add a splash of water. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until soft. Set aside. Bring the same pan to a medium high heat. Sear patties for 3-4 minutes each side. Remove and cover with tin foil to rest. Please note juices will run.

Bake buns

Slice buns in half and place in the oven on top rack with the inside of buns facing up for 2 - 4 minutes until lightly toasted. Remove and set aside.

To serve
Combine yoghurt and harissa paste. Spread harissa yoghurt on base of bun. Top with rocket, patties, sliced tomato and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Plate burger with chips.
